Medea

Medea Opera Book was an editorial design project which looked to embody the essence of Opera Medea through the design and production of a book. The book consists of four chapters and a libretto. Each chapter focuses on a different concept found in the opera, taking a specific focus on women. The design of the book conveys the concept of calm before the storm which was seen in the opera. The first two chapters are organized, with the text following the grid and guidelines, while the last ones use more imagery and constantly break the guides. The editorial design project was made using InDesign to create the grids, and Photoshop to create a cohesive image style.
