Instant Beauty

“Instant Beauty” is an art toy based on the show “Rick and Morty”. The toy is a critic towards vanity and how this can lead to self obsession and impatience.

The toy consists of a cream, which promises instant beauty. What the buyer doesn’t know is that through the packaging and booklet there are details that hint towards the fact that the cream is part of the Devil’s store. By using it or even buying it a curse will be placed on them, making their beauty disappear, as a punishment for being overly vain. This toy looks to make the consumer think about how fleeting beauty is and how harmful this obsession can be by using the concept of the Devil shown in “Rick and Morty” to do so.
