Still Here is an exhibition proposal for the new floor of the Reina Sofia Museum which focuses on bringing to light emerging cultural narratives around aging. By 2050 Spain is projected to have  the highest average age in Europe in four of its provinces, as life expectancy increases it is crucial to create spaces where people can reflect on their relationship with aging adults, and their own aging experience. This project uses cultural expressions to bring to light the emerging cultural narrative which has appeared as a reaction to agesit mentalities, framing aging bodies as something that should be represented and valued. It also proposes the spatial design for the exhibition, focusing on creating a narrative as visitors walk through the space.
